Hello!

I’m Andrea, and I'm a freelance 2D motion designer and short-form animation director from Little Rock, Arkansas, currently working in NYC.

I love to bring characters to life, whether that be through puppeted AE characters, frame-by-frame cel animation, or the written word.

My portfolio includes work for clients such as HBO, Amazon, Spotify, DoorDash, CNBC, Newsy, Acorns, Applegate, the World Bank, and musical artist Jen Kwok. Previously I was Motion Design Lead at Insider Inc/Business Insider for several years, and a motion designer at New York Magazine.

Between 2018 and 2024 I organized an annual animation anthology called Things Took a Turn, which pushed artists of marginalized genders (including women, non-binary artists, and trans men) to create new animated short stories by twisting familiar narratives.

Apart from animation, I enjoy writing speculative fiction, reading Webtoon comics and fanfiction, and baking every other day.
